Are you looking to stand out for Threat Intel Cybersecurity roles or just build your overall Threat Intelligence skills?
One of the things that I did was create a Project Confluence page to build out my Threat Intel Research projects on. Then, during my interview, I would walk them through my projects and process by doing a screenshare.
➡️Here's how to get started:
💢Create a free Atlassian Confluence page
💢Dedicate a page that shows how you conduct your threat intel research
💢Select active or past threats to research
💢Conduct research using open-source tools
💢Compile your research to share in an easily digestible manner
💢Be sure to include IOCs (Indicators of Compromise) in your research
💢Be sure to include mitigations, workarounds, or other security controls
💢Share the tools you used to conduct the research
💢Strengthen and be ready to show off your communication skills
➡️Including a link in your #CV #resume #portfolio for potential employers to view will make you stand out (I've been personally told a time or two 😉).
